Skimmer
The plumbing of the skimmer is connected to the pool’s pump which creates suction that pulls water into the skimmer’s mouth. Larger debris such as leaves, twigs, bugs, or even clumps of dog hair will then travel over the weir and be captured by the basket that is nested within the skimmer.

Main Drains
DUAL MAIN DRAINS: There are two main drain pots plumbed to each other with a “T” fitting. The main drain is an outlet that runs to the pump which sucks water through ​the drain covers back to the pump then through a filter​ and then back to the pool.

Each kit comes with the manufacturer’s dig sheet that details the exact size, shape and depth of the excavation.

Shipping
Delivery is coordinated for sites in Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. You are responsible for arranging unloading of the shell from the truck. You have one hour to do so. Your contractor will typically coordinate unloading equipment. For spas, a few workers can easily lift the shell off the truck. Lights do not come with our fiberglass pool shells. Pools typically need 1–4 lights depending on the size of the pool. When you purchase an LED light package, the holes will be drilled and the housing for the lights will be installed at the factory. Your custom package will include the lights, a transformer, and a remote.
